Let Me Help You!
Many people start therapy because of just these types of thoughts and feelings — and a desire to feel better. I am a relational therapist who is experienced in working with these issues and more.
Are you interested in learning more about working relationally? I provide ongoing or as needed consultation and supervision. I facilitate study groups designed to aid you in increasing your psychotherapeutic skills.
Let’s Get Started
My clients and I work together to understand the world in which they live, their beliefs, behaviors and desires. With sensitivity and compassion, I engage in dialogue with my patients to support their increasing awareness. In the course of therapy, patients may feel deeply, experiment with new behaviors, and question their thought patterns and beliefs. This process often changes perspectives, opening up more choices and solutions to current and long-standing issues.
Feeling better (change) takes hard work and a willingness to be who you are. Click here for a wonderful article (The Paradoxical Theory of Change) by Arnold Beisser, M.D. My work embraces this theory.
