Many people start therapy because of just these types of thoughts and feelings -- and a desire to feel better. I am a relational therapist who is experienced in working with these types of issues and more.
My patients and I work together to understand the world in which they live, their beliefs, behaviors and desires. With sensitivity and compassion, I engage in dialogue with my patients to support their increasing awareness. In the course of therapy, patients may feel deeply, experiment with new behaviors, and question their thought patterns and beliefs. This process often changes their perspectives, opens up more choices and solutions to current and long-standing issues.
Feeling better (change) takes hard work and a willingness to be who we are. Click here for a wonderful article (The Paradoxical Theory of Change) by Arnold Beisser, MD. My work embraces this theory.
If you are interested in starting therapy or have questions that aren't addressed on my website, please call me at 310 474-5363 or email me by clicking here. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
