For Psychotherapists

I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I teach, consult and facilitate study groups because I love to see how people grow and develop. It’s really the same reason I practice therapy. In fact a large percentage of my psychotherapy practice is with other therapists – although we are working on their “issues” I also get to see how changes they are making impact their professional life. Case Consultation

I am available for individual case consultation on a regular or as needed basis.

Study Groups

Are you interested in studying Gestalt therapy, working more relationally, or developing your own individual therapeutic style? If so, one of these groups might be for you.

Relational Study & Live Supervision Group

We meet for 2 hours two times per month. During the first hour, we study and discuss an article or book chapter. During the second hour, one or more group members have an opportunity to do a “live” supervised piece of work with one of the other group members. During and/or after the work I provide feedback and together we identify your growing edge.  The “live supervision” provides you with an opportunity to experiment with different ways of “being” in the room with patients.  All of this is done in a supportive, dialogical environment.

We meet every other Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Live Supervision

I offer “live supervision” to small groups (2 to 6 people) on case by case basis.  These groups provide one or more group members an opportunity to do a “live” supervised piece of work with one of the other group members. During and/or after the work I provide feedback and together we identify your growing edge.  The “live supervision” provides you with an opportunity to experiment with different ways of “being” in the room with patients.  All of this is done in a supportive, dialogical environment.

Relational Study & Consultation Group

During the first hour we study and discuss an article or book chapter.  During the second hour, one of the participants presents a case for discussion.  The group is limited to 6 members.

All supervision and consultation is provided from a Relational Gestalt Theory and Therapy lens.  Please note, “live supervision” is not a substitute for formal Gestalt Training.

I am available to provide in-service training on a variety of topics for local mental health centers.
